More than 110 people attended the User-Meeting in Mannheim, Germany and more than 50 the one in Zurich, Switzerland.
The people present followed with great interest the presentations of the new features of NEPLAN Desktop and the new web-based solution of NEPLAN

The new version 5.53 has been released with many new features. The focus was set to
- network modeling for dynamic analysis (most accurate HVDC model, CIM-ENTSO-E models)
- high performance of Loadflow for integration into SCADA and DMS systems
- new NPL functions for integration into SCADA/DMS systems
- higher performance for contingency analysis
- new models for disperse generation and energy storage (AC/DC converter)
- Optimal Power Flow: Optimization of active and reactive power flow through transformers

NEPLAN 360 Version V3.0 (web based) is now released. All modules for distribution networks from Desktop version are available now. The performance for handling huge networks has been increased and the data migration from GIS/SCADA completed. The outstanding reporting facilities allow an easy documentation of planning or feasibility studies.

We are pleased to announce our presence at 2014 IEEE/PES Transmission & Distribution Conference & Exposition (T&D), from April 14 to 17, in Chicago(USA). The latest development of NEPLAN 360 and NEPLAN Desktop in respect of disperse generation and their integration in the network will be shown.
